Biographical Information
CAPT Sir Thomas Marrone, KR has had the opportunity to create official artwork for the Honor Harrington series for over eight years, contributing artwork to the Saganai Island Tactical Simulator tabletop game, Jaynes Intelligence Reviews, various T-shirts and posters and finally the first Honorverse Companion Volume, House of Steel.
A founding member of BuNine Consulting, Marrone took a more active role in the The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association. He was the founding commander of HMSArtemis as well as Task Group 91.1 within the Tenth Fleet. He stepped down from his position on October 22, 2015, handing off to his former bosun, Commodore Garcia. Marrone supports Medusa from the wardroom in providing needed art and graphics for the ship, including the shoulder assignment patch and the ship’s crest.
In another universe, Marrone works for Cryptic Studios as an artist developing the massively multiplayer game Star Trek Online. While it’s said that one cannot serve two masters, Marrone is content to salute both Harrington and Picard as role models of command.
