Awarded the Queen’s Bravery Medal for “Bravery in Action during BayCon on 24 May 2015, then-LCPL Erik Roberts, RMMC, performed above and beyond the call of duty. On this date, Roberts volunteered his services when it became apparent that the majority of the Con Suite’s staff left early and his fellow TRMN members were left to break it down. Sacrificing their intent to visit/view the final day’s panels and events, the Corporal worked tirelessly to assist in detrashing, identiying usable items, pack them up into the provided bins, and helped convey the bins down to the loading dock for the Logistics team to transport them to the storage facility. His actions saved the event time, represented TRMN very well to those convention staffers who witnessed his resolve and work ethic, and reflected great credit upon himself, HMS Artemis, Tenth Fleet, and the Royal Manticoran Navy,” by order of the First Space Lord, FADM Lord Sir Scott A.
